Eric Shelton

President | partner

Eric began his career in the electrical contracting industry in 2003. Since then, he has served in all areas related to sales, operations, human resources, and management. He has overseen projects of all types and complexities, including commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, and federal, with up to a $13.3 million electrical contract value.  Eric is skilled in electrical design, project coordination and management, BIM management, installation, maintenance, and repair and testing of electrical systems. He holds a B.B.A. in Management from Valdosta State University.

As President, Eric’s focus is cultivating a collaborative spirit within the Pioneer team as well as with customers and contractors. He is committed to excellence in both process and relationship and believes that team members, bringing all of themselves to the table, can accomplish this. Eric currently oversees company operations and stays connected to his teams throughout the course of Pioneer projects.

Trav Paulk

partner

As a partner in Pioneer Electric Group, Trav serves as a collaborative resource for the wealth of knowledge he has amassed over the last 30 years in the electrical contracting industry.  During his career, Trav has owned and operated a successful electrical contracting firm, where he has managed over $150 million of electrical projects. He is knowledgeable in all areas and types of electrical projects and is skilled in electrical design, project coordination and management, installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems.  He has engineering education from Clemson University and holds a B.B.A. in Management from Valdosta State University.

Jacksonville, FL

  • General Contractor: Bassford Industrial
  • Owner: Warehouse Rentals
  • Included two buildings totaling 400,000 square feet.
  • Total of nine new electrical services
  • Maintained project schedule during all phases of construction.

Tift Regional Medical
Center-ED/Tower

Tifton, GA

  • General Contractor: JE Dunn Construction
  • Owner: Tift County Hospital Authority
  • 4 story patient tower with new ED on first floor
  • Added 3.5 megawatts of generator capacity and associated paralleling gear.
  • $13.3 million total electrical cost
  • Included 74 state-of-the-art patient rooms, half of which of which were an ICU and Step Down.

Martin’s Bakery Plant Expansion and New Line
